Engineered to Protect Tiled Layouts from Sagging, Hollow Pockets & Debonding Failures

Conventional Cement Mortars

Traditional systems often suffer from:

  • Severe drying shrinkage causing rapid tile debonding and structural pop-outs
  • High water permeability leading to moisture seepage and joint efflorescence
  • Poor sag resistance making vertical wall installations highly difficult

Tile Xtraa TX 205

It is specially formulated to provide:

  • High-polymer molecular grip preventing tiles from sagging on vertical wall faces
  • Specialized non-shrink matrix that eliminates under-tile voids and hollow sounds
  • High water resistance properties ideal for wet-area tile backgrounds
  • Accelerated curing mechanism requiring absolutely no pre-soaking or post-watering

where to use

application process

Surface Preparation

  • Clean the floor or wall masonry substrate thoroughly to eliminate all dust, traces of oil, grease, laitance, and loose curing compounds.
  • Correct major surface irregularities, deep crevices, and layout depressions using a polymer-modified repair mortar before execution.
  • Ensure that newly cast concrete floor slabs or cement-plastered walls are completely cured, stable, and geometrically true.
  • Dampen highly porous cement plaster zones lightly with potable water and allow the wet sheen to dissipate prior to adhesive laying.

Application

  • Mix the white adhesive powder with a measured volume of clean potable water using a mechanical slow-speed paddle mixer.
  • Allow the homogeneous, creamy white paste to slake inside the mixing container for five minutes, then blend it briefly once more.
  • Trowel the mixed white adhesive paste firmly onto the structural background using the flat edge of a notched trowel.
  • Comb the wet bed with a suitable notched profile tool at a sixty-degree angle to produce uniform parallel ribs.

FInishing

  • Press the white marble stone or glass tiles firmly into the ribbed wet white adhesive bed with an adaptive sliding movement.
  • Use a rubber mallet or grout float to tap the stone sections smoothly, guaranteeing complete back-surface wetting.

  • Clean out any wet adhesive squeezing out into the joint channels immediately using a damp sponge or cloth.

  • Allow the completed stone matrix to cure undisturbed for twenty-four hours before initiating joint grouting operations.
