Engineered to Protect Standard Tiled Layouts from Hollow Trapped Pockets, Sagging & Debonding

Conventional Site-Mixed Mortars

Traditional systems often suffer from:

  • Poor water retention resulting in weak bonding and rapid tile pop-outs
  • Heavy shrinkage during drying that creates under-tile hollow spots
  • Lack of adequate tackiness leading to messy sliding on vertical surfaces

Tile Adhesive SA 109

It is specially formulated to provide:

  • High polymer-modified mechanical grab that secures interior wall tiles without slipping
  • Homogeneous, non-shrink bed consistency that entirely eliminates hollow sounds
  • Balanced water-retention properties perfectly suited for high-moisture floor bases
  • Modern self-curing mechanism that significantly optimizes site labor timelines

where to use

application process

Surface Preparation

  • Clean the floor or wall concrete background thoroughly to eliminate all dust, dirt, loose plaster particles, oils, and grease.
  • Correct major surface irregularities, deep crevices, and layout depressions using a polymer-modified repair mortar.
  • Ensure that the target masonry substrate is completely dimensionally stable, flat, and fully cured before application.
  • Dampen highly porous or hot cement renders lightly with fresh water and wait for the surface moisture film to evaporate.

Application

  • Mix the dry tile adhesive powder slowly with a measured quantity of clean potable water using a mechanical stirrer tool.
  • Let the smooth, lump-free paste rest in the bucket for five minutes to mature, then give it a quick remix before use.
  • Spread the mixed adhesive paste firmly onto the structural surface using the flat edge of a suitable notched trowel.
  • Comb the wet mortar bed immediately with the notched side of the trowel at a sixty-degree angle to produce uniform ribs.

FInishing

  • Press the clean tiles firmly into the ribbed adhesive bed with a sliding action to ensure maximum material contact.
  • Tap the tile faces gently with a rubber mallet to ensure perfect leveling and continuous bedding layout alignments.
  • Wipe away any excess adhesive material squeezing out into the open joint tracks using a damp sponge or cloth.
  • Allow the completed tile matrix to cure undisturbed for twenty-four hours before commencing joint grouting operations.
