Engineered to Protect Tile Joints from Cracking, Powdering & Water Penetration

Conventional Cement Mortars

Traditional systems often suffer from:

  • Severe drying shrinkage causing grout lines to crack and dislodge quickly
  • High water permeability leading to moisture seepage beneath tiled planes
  • Poor abrasion resistance resulting in rapid surface powdering and erosion

SakTile Grout

It is specially formulated to provide:

  • High polymer-modified mechanical grab ensuring un-yielding joint adhesion
  • Advanced non-shrink crystal matrix that eliminates hairline stress fractures
  • Specialized hydrophobic additives reducing surface water absorption effectively
  • Safe living conditions via a certified non-flammable, non-toxic formulation

where to use

application process

Surface Preparation

  • Ensure that the underlying tile adhesive has cured completely for at least twenty-four hours before commencing joint filling.
  • Clear the open tile joints thoroughly to remove all loose dust, tile spacers, construction debris, and residual bedding mortar.
  • Verify that the tile joint gaps are completely dry and uniform to prevent localized grout discoloration or curing issues.
  • Clean the decorative tile faces using a damp cloth or sponge to remove surface grit, then allow them to dry out fully.

Application

  • Mix the tile joint filler powder systematically with a measured volume of clean potable water until a smooth paste is achieved.
  • Let the homogeneous, lump-free paste mature inside the mixing bucket for five minutes, then remix briefly right before application.
  • Apply the mixed grout paste firmly across the tile tracks using a high-density rubber grout float at a forty-five-degree angle.
  • Pack the joint channels completely to ensure absolute depth filling, cutting away excess material diagonally with the float edge.

FInishing

  • Allow the applied joint filler to set slightly for ten to twenty minutes until it reaches a firm, non-sticky matte consistency.
  • Clean the decorative tile faces gently using a damp sponge in uniform circular movements to emulsify surface grout residues.
  • Wipe down the entire completed tiled plane diagonally with a clean, dry microfiber cloth to eliminate remaining dust haze.
  • Keep the freshly grouted layout protected from heavy site dust, moisture, and foot traffic for a minimum of twenty-four hours.
