High-Performance Silane Siloxane Water Repellent Coating

SAKSILOCOAT is a professional-grade, transparent water repellent coating formulated with advanced Silane Siloxane technology. It penetrates deeply into porous mineral substrates to form an invisible, hydrophobic barrier within the capillary pores without altering the structural appearance or breathability of the material. It offers exceptional protection against driving rain, moisture ingress, and efflorescence, effectively extending the lifespan of exposed exterior facades and natural stone surfaces.

Engineered to Protect Exposed Masonry from Driving Rain, Efflorescence & Fungal Staining

Conventional Clear Sealers

Traditional systems often suffer from:

  • Surface film formation that yellow, cracks, or peels under direct solar heat
  • Trapping internal moisture which leads to substrate spalling and structural dampness
  • Inadequate penetration depth that wears off quickly under abrasive weathering

Sak Silocoat

It is specially formulated to provide:

  • Deep chemical penetration forming a permanent sub-surface hydrophobic matrix
  • Excellent vapor permeability allowing underlying building dampness to escape freely
  • Effective reduction of water-soluble salt migration to eradicate efflorescence
  • Highly durable protective layer resistant to UV rays and environmental pollutants

where to use

application process

Step 1: Surface Preparation

  • Clean the target mineral substrate thoroughly to ensure it is free from dust, oil, grease, algae, efflorescence, and loose paint coatings.
  • Repair all structural cracks, open masonry joints, and deep physical surface voids before initiating the application process.
  • Allow the washed or cleaned masonry layout to dry completely for a minimum of twenty-four hours to optimize penetration depth.
  • Mask and isolate adjacent non-porous fixtures including glass windows, metal frames, and polished decorative elements from overspray.

Step 2: Application

  • Mix or stir the single-component liquid water repellent compound thoroughly in its container before starting the job.
  • Apply the liquid treatment evenly onto the dry substrate using a low-pressure spray unit, premium roller, or thick brush.
  • Work from the bottom upward to ensure a heavy, saturating flood coat runs down approximately six to eight inches.
  • Apply a second wet-on-wet coat within ten to fifteen minutes before the initial application has completely dried out.

Step 3: Finishing / Curing

  • Wipe away any accidental over-application or pooling liquid from non-absorbent sections using a clean microfiber cloth immediately.
  • Keep the freshly treated masonry profile completely shielded from heavy rain, moisture, and site dust for at least six hours.
  • Clean all application tools and spraying nozzles thoroughly with potable water immediately after completing the work.
  • Allow the invisible hydrophobic barrier to develop its full strength over twenty-four to forty-eight hours under ambient conditions.
