Anti-Efflorescence and Superior Undercoat Primer

SAKEFFLORI PRIME is a professional-grade, specialized undercoat primer engineered to combat white saltpetre growth and surface dampness on internal and external walls. Formulated with high-performance barrier polymers, it creates an impenetrable seal over porous cementitious substrates, trapping water-soluble salts deep within the masonry matrix. It active shields subsequent topcoats, preventing paint flaking, patchy discoloration, and blister formation while significantly enhancing finish coat adhesion.

Engineered to Protect Topcoat Paint Systems from Substrate Saltpetre & Chemical Peeling

Conventional Wall Primers

Traditional systems often suffer from:

  • Permeable crystalline structures that let subterranean salts pass through freely
  • High vulnerability to alkaline moisture resulting in topcoat paint saponification
  • Weak film tension that ruptures easily under localized hydrostatic pressure

Sak Efflori Prime

It is specially formulated to provide:

  • High-density barrier technology that neutralizes migratory alkaline salts completely
  • Strong surface-binding matrix that halts topcoat peeling and paint blistering
  • Complete sealing performance that isolates finish paints from internal brick wall dampness
  • Superior opacity and leveling behavior that maximizes decorative topcoat coverage

where to use

application process

Step 1: Surface Preparation

  • Clean the targeted masonry wall layout thoroughly to eradicate loose dirt, dust, residual grease, and crumbling paint layers.
  • Scrape away existing structural saltpetre deposits and efflorescence crystal layers completely using a stiff wire brush.
  • Wash the area down with fresh potable water to remove loosened salts and allow it to dry out completely.
  • Repair deep substrate holes, structural cracks, and plaster imperfections with an appropriate modified mortar before priming.

Step 2: Application

  • Stir the single-component anti-efflorescence primer container thoroughly to guarantee a homogeneous fluid consistency.
  • Dilute the material with clean potable water only in strict accordance with the recommended product guidelines.
  • Apply a uniform, full coat onto the dry wall surface using a premium brush, roller, or mechanical spray unit.
  • Ensure uniform cross-directional sweeps to achieve absolute film continuity without any thin or missed segments.

Step 3: Finishing / Curing

  • Allow the applied priming barrier coat to cure and dry completely for four to six hours under ambient conditions.
  • Check the dried surface to ensure a consistent, matte layer has formed over the cementitious substrate profiling.
  • Clean all used brushes, rollers, and application containers cleanly using fresh tap water immediately after completing the task.
  • Apply the final premium decorative emulsion or exterior topcoat layers over the stabilized, primed background layout.
