Engineered to Protect Exterior Surfaces from Heavy Rainfall, Thermal Cracking & Heat Ingress

Conventional Exterior Paints

Traditional systems often suffer from:

  • Poor elasticity resulting in film tearing over hairline cracks
  • High heat absorption that increases indoor building temperatures
  • Rapid chalking and degradation under severe monsoon conditions

Sak Damp Kawach

It is specially formulated to provide:

  • High-build elastomeric shield that accommodates structural expansion
  • Superior solar reflectance to lower building cooling costs
  • Reinforced barrier preventing dampness from penetrating concrete slabs
  • Long-lasting resistance to carbonation and environmental weathering

where to use

application process

Step 1: Surface Preparation

  • Clean the exterior substrate thoroughly with a high-pressure water jet to eliminate all loose particles, moss, algae, and grease.
  • Treat existing fungal patches completely with an appropriate biocide solution and rinse with clean water.
  • Repair structural cracks larger than three millimeters using a polymer-modified cement mortar before priming.
  • Ensure the cleaned surface is completely dry and structurally sound prior to initiating product application.

Step 2: Application

  • Apply a dedicated base coat primer diluted with water in the recommended proportions to seal substrate porosity.
  • Lay down the first undiluted coat using a premium roller or brush in a uniform, single horizontal direction.
  • Allow the initial layer to cure fully for four to six hours before continuing with the next step.
  • Apply the second undiluted layer perpendicular to the first to achieve a cross-linked, pinhole-free protective film.

Step 3: Finishing / Curing

  • Inspect the completed system thoroughly to ensure uniform film thickness and absolute coverage across all areas.
  • Keep the freshly treated surface protected from immediate foot traffic or structural loading during curing.
  • Allow the completed membrane system to dry completely for forty-eight hours to achieve its full elastomeric strength.
  • Ensure all application equipment is cleaned with fresh potable water immediately after finishing the work.
