High-Purity B-Hemihydrate Type A Structural Gypsum Plaster

Khara Gypsum Plaster is a professional-grade, high-purity B-hemihydrate Type A gypsum plaster engineered to provide an ultra-smooth, perfectly leveled, and crack-free interior surface lining directly over internal masonry walls and concrete ceilings. Formulated with premium-grade natural gypsum mineral bases, it features optimum water-retention properties and controlled setting kinetics that minimize application shrinkage while maximizing working time. It serves as a superior single-coat plaster solution that replaces traditional sand-cement rendering systems, completely eliminating the need for separate water curing while drastically speeding up internal layout project timelines.

Engineered to Protect Internal Walls from Surface Cracking, Rough Finishes & Extended Project Delays

Conventional Sand-Cement Plasters

Traditional systems often suffer from:

  • Developing extensive hairline shrinkage cracks, map cracking, and structural crazing patterns during drying out phases
  • Requiring extensive water curing over seven to fourteen days, creating severe site delays and internal layout moisture traps
  • Yielding rough, highly uneven surface profiles that require heavy, multi-layer wall putty smoothing before paint primer application

Khara Gypsum Plaster

It is specially formulated to provide:

  • High-density dimensional stability that sets without showing surface shrinkage hairline fractures
  • Completely elimination of water curing steps, allowing internal surfaces to dry out cleanly for immediate paint readiness
  • Ultra-white, flat, marble-smooth surface profiles that accept high-end decorative paints without heavy putty bases
  • Natural low thermal conductivity parameters that lower building structure transmission heat loads internally

where to use

application process

Surface Preparation

  • Clean the target interior brickwork, concrete block, or raw concrete ceiling plane thoroughly to remove all loose dust, chemical release oils, efflorescence salts, and concrete slag.
  • Ensure that the base substrate layout is entirely rigid, structurally stable, fully cured, and structurally free from live dampness leaks.
  • Pre-fix standard vertical alignment dabs or level strips across the wall layout to establish absolute vertical correctness and uniform plaster thickness parameters.
  • Apply a high-grip bonding agent over exceptionally smooth, non-porous concrete surfaces before plastering to optimize mechanical anchor adhesion.

Mixing & Application

  • Pour fresh potable water into a clean mixing vessel, then gradually sprinkle the Khara Gypsum Plaster powder into the water in the recommended mixing ratio.
  • Blend the mixture thoroughly using a low-speed mechanical mixer or manual paddle for 2–3 minutes until a smooth, completely uniform, lump-free paste layout is achieved.
  • Apply the mixed plaster slurry firmly onto the substrate using a clean aluminum trowel or standard plastering blade, working systematically from the wall base upward.
  • Level the applied paste tightly along the pre-set alignment dabs using an aluminum straight-edge box section to establish a true vertical surface plane.

Final Finishing

  • Allow the leveled plaster layer to set slightly, then run a steel polishing trowel smoothly over the face to form an ultra-flat, glossy finish.
  • Trim off any localized minor profile ridges or micro-imperfections cleanly before the plaster grid reaches its absolute final chemical set layout.
  • Let the completed gypsum plaster surface air-dry naturally under completely dry, ventilated room site environments for a period of 72 hours.
  • Ensure that the plaster face has dried to its full structural whiteness and exhibits zero internal core moisture before beginning paint or primer decorations.

Important Note

Surface Preparation

Surface Preparation
Apply exclusively across completely covered internal wall and ceiling building partitions. Never introduce any extra sand, cement, or external chemical additives into the high-purity gypsum slurry matrix. Follow recommended surface preparation and application practices to achieve optimum durability and a flawless finish.
