Engineered to Protect Interior Spaces from Surface Cracking, Panel Sagging & Difficult Leveling

Traditional Plaster Walls

Traditional systems often suffer from:

  • Extended curing drying periods that delay project handover timelines
  • High structural weight increasing the overall dead load of building frameworks
  • Inherent surface waviness and rough finishes requiring intensive labor corrections

Gipskarton Standard Gypsum Board

It is specially formulated to provide:

  • Precision factory-leveled surfaces that ensure perfectly flat, seamless joints
  • Lightweight composition reducing structural masonry loads while optimizing layout space
  • Balanced core wet-ability enabling easy cutting and mechanical screw fastening
  • Excellent thermal and acoustic properties that upgrade interior room comfort

where to use

application process

Surface Preparation

  • Ensure that the supporting light-gauge steel framing channel grid or timber stud matrix is structurally secure, clean, and perfectly leveled.
  • Verify that all internal wall wiring, air conditioning ducting, and insulating layers are fully installed and approved prior to boarding.
  • Handle the standard gypsum boards carefully in a flat, horizontal layout to protect corners and edges from physical damage.
  • Measure the framing dimensions precisely and pre-mark true cutting lines onto the ivory paper face sheet for smooth alignment.

Application

  • Cut the gypsum panels cleanly by scoring the ivory face paper with a utility knife, snapping the core, and slicing the back liner.
  • Position the board firmly against the framing grid, leaving a minor expansion clearance gap at the finished floor line.
  • Fasten the panel securely using premium bugle-head drywall screws spaced in strict accordance with project installation guidelines.
  • Drive the screw heads slightly below the paper plane to create a uniform dimple without cutting or tearing the face paper.

FInishing

  • Fill the recessed taper board edges uniformly with specialized jointing compound and embed high-strength joint paper tape cleanly.
  • Apply a secondary finishing skim layer of jointing compound over the taped tracks and exposed screw dimples to achieve a flush layout.
  • Sand down cured joint sections lightly using fine emery paper to establish a flat, un-broken structural wall plane.
  • Wipe away all micro-sanding dust film and apply a premium wall primer prior to executing final decorative painting or wallpapering.
