Center the self-adhesive fiberglass mesh tape precisely over the dry joint track line, running it continuously down the seam.

Press the tape firmly against the board face using a clean drywall taping knife or manual hand pressure to lock the grip.
Cut the reinforcing mesh tape cleanly at layout endpoints using a sharp utility knife or the straight edge of your taping tool.
Ensure that the entire applied mesh track sits perfectly flat, tight, and smooth against the board without any wrinkles or lifts.

FInishing

Spread a generous layer of specialized jointing compound directly over the open mesh channels using a steel trowel.

Force the compound firmly through the grid pores to fill the under-void completely, then feather the outer edges cleanly.
Allow the initial filling layer to cure completely for twenty-four hours before applying a secondary, wider skim topcoat layer.
Sand down the cured joint finish systematically with fine emery paper to achieve a flat, unbroken surface plane layout.
